Why Random Noise Bursts? Random == we can't predict the outcome. In common usage it means something bigger to us, almost a lack of cause and effect. Originally I used the phrase as the title of a CD of original music I recorded that was largely improvised using overdubbing. I'll try to get it up for sale here later. It also summarizes my opinion of the current state of what passes for communication among Murkans. Time after time I find myself talking with someone and suddenly realizing that we have been engaging in simultaneous soliloquy. To the casual observer it would appear that we were conversing because the words we would be speaking were loosely related to each other, and we would take turns as though a conversation were happening, even mimicing 'active listening' with "I hear you saying, blah....". But no communication was actually happening.

When I hear, and read, people like David Horowitz, and Dinesh D'Souza, Depak Chopra, Bill O'Reilly, George Bush (both), Bill and Hillary Clinton, Joan Roughgarden, Ann Coulter and Ted Nugent (on the mike and on the guitar) I think immediately:
